"Rajbari is my in-laws' house, we will wait for you" — Tasnim Zara's status around NCP's march goes viral!

The upcoming July march of the National Citizens Party (NCP) around Rajbari has created a lot of interest and enthusiasm among the general public. In particular, an emotional Facebook status by the party's senior joint member secretary Tasnim Zara has gone viral on social media.

On Tuesday (July 15) at around 3:30 pm, he wrote on his own verified Facebook ID:

“Rajbari is my in-laws’ house, which means my home too. After Dhaka, this is where I have the most memories. I bought hilsa in a boat on the Padma, rode a motorcycle from Barat Bazar to Gudar Bazar, bought fresh river fish from Daulatdia. I still can’t forget the taste of the Nirmal Sweets Bhandar. This time, I am returning with another kind of love—with the leaders of the July Uprising. On July 17, at 3 pm, our march will reach Rajbari Railgate. We have been walking since July 1. We have visited different parts of the country. Every day, I feel a new sense of how much potential this country has. We will also wait for you in Rajbari. Nahid, Hasnat, Sarjis, Nasir, Akhtar—who led the July Revolution—are all staying. If the time comes, then come. See you.”

NCP central leaders will participate in this march program to be held in the Railgate area of Rajbari city. It has been learned that the march will be held at the Railgate area on Thursday (July 17) at 3 pm and will be held across the city. Local leadership and supporters have already completed preparations across the city for this occasion.

Mir Mahmud Sujan, convener of the Rajbari district branch of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, said,

“All our preparations are complete to make the Rajbari program a success. We hope that about 15 to 20 thousand people will gather. Central leaders including Nahid Islam, Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam, Akhter Hossain, Tasnim Zara, who led the July movement, will be present in the march.”

Many have already shared Tasnim Zara’s emotional message on social media. Someone wrote, “The girl from Rajbari is coming and calling—so now we have to go.”

NCP’s July march is no longer just a political program, it is becoming a kind of message and conviction of possibility for the new generation.
