The press secretary to the chief advisor, Shafiqul Alam, has alleged that an Awami League bot army is targeting him. He called the attack 'very horrific'.
He made these remarks while speaking at the inauguration of the National University's central orientation and awareness program on cyber security on Monday (August 18).
Shafiqul Alam said, "Not only am I being targeted, pictures of my wife, daughter and relatives have also been distorted. They have been distorted so horribly that many have become mentally disturbed."
He also said that not only are the pictures distorted, but they are being spread and targeted on social media. “They are not just sharing, they are spreading pictures of my family and relatives all over the online space. This experience is so intense that I have had to unfriend my siblings and relatives.”
The press secretary added that he was forced to remove all the pictures taken in the last 10 years. “It was only after many years that I realized what a big problem this is.”
