Tangail Diploma in Engineering Surveying Diploma in Surveyors seeking promotion to 10th grade

The workers in the district have submitted a memorandum to the Tangail District Administrator demanding the implementation of 10th grade for those working in equivalent positions of surveyors with diploma in engineering surveying.
On the morning of September 10, they took a position in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner as part of the central program. Later, the Deputy Commissioner issued a memorandum of understanding. At the time, they said, 4-year surveying diploma engineers are being discriminated against for a long time. Surveying 1 out of 38 diploma holders in Bangladesh Gazette published in notification No. 164 in the Ministry of Public Administration in 1994. which is gazetted in 10th grade with 2nd class rank. But even though 10th grade has been implemented for all diploma engineers, only survey diploma engineers have been discriminated against. In order to remove this disparity and to implement the Ministry of Public Administration and Public Administration, survey engineering diploma holders from all over the country have written letters to the District Commissioners of their respective districts.
The agitators have warned of more severe agitation in the future if the demands are not met soon.
Central Committee Joint Secretary General Kamrul Alam, Rafiqul Islam (former) Joint Secretary, Surveyor Omar Farooq Upazila Land Office Ghatail, Tangail Zonal Settlement Office Surveyor Abul Hossain, Zakirul Alam were present. Zahirul Islam, surveyor of Tangail Water Development Board, Mosharaf Hossain, surveyor of LGED Madhupur, along with diploma holders working in the district upazila were present.
