Tamim Iqbal's message of return before BPL, can play in NCL too

Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal was active in domestic cricket even after retiring from the national team. However, the country's best opener suddenly suffered a heart attack during the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) in March this year. He has been out of the field since then. It was thought that he would not be able to return to the field for a long time.
However, this time Tamim himself has sounded a note of hope. In a recent interview with a media outlet, Tamim said that he wants to return to bat before the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He said, "I will try to play the BPL. I have started preparing. I am working in the gym. It will take some time to start batting. But I will try to return to the field before the BPL."
Tamim also said that he also wants to participate in the NCL T20 tournament that will be held before the BPL. Although he will not play the entire tournament, there is a possibility of playing 2-3 matches. “There is a chance to play (in the NCL). Even if I don’t play the entire tournament, I might play 2-3 matches.” — said Tamim.
Recently, he was also seen as a commentator in international matches. However, he has not yet planned to make this profession permanent. “I haven’t thought much about it. I may do commentary in the future. But if I think it can be a profession, then definitely.” — said Tamim.
Tamim also said, “I have said before, I still say it, commentary is not easy. Many people may like it the first time they hear it, but they will not like it if it is not done properly. If you take it as a profession, you have to take it very seriously.”
The news of Tamim Iqbal’s return to the field, who has gone through various challenges in his long cricket career, has sparked a new ray of hope among his fans.
