Sadiq Kayem, Jamaat's candidate in Dhaka South City Corporation elections

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced the name of Sadiq Kayem as its candidate for the post of mayor in the Dhaka South City Corporation elections.
The announcement was made at the Dhaka South City Jamaat workers' conference organized at the Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh in Kakrail, the capital, on Friday (May 1) morning.
Sadiq Kayem himself was present at the program. He previously served as the vice-president (VP) of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union.
At that time, leaders and activists of various police stations and divisional levels of Jamaat from Dhaka South City were also present at the conference.
