Representative conference to strengthen Hindu-Muslim unity and harmony in Narail

A representative conference was held to strengthen Hindu-Muslim unity and mutual harmony organized by the Narail District Puja Udjavan Front. The conference, held at Dhopa Khola Mor Palki Community Center on Friday, October 31 at 11 am, was presided over by Ashok Kumar Kundu, convener of Narail District Puja Udjavan Front, and moderated by Kartik Kumar Das.
Alhaj Biswas Jahangir Alam, president of Narail District BNP and a candidate for nomination from Narail-1 constituency in the upcoming National Assembly elections, was present as the chief guest at the conference. Sadar Upazila BNP president Bir Muktijoddha Mostafizur Rahman Alek, general secretary Mujahidor Rahman Palash, district Jubo Dal general secretary Saydat Kabir Rubel and leaders and workers from the districts, police stations and various unions of the Puja Udjavan Front were present as special guests.
Chief guest Alhaj Biswas Jahangir Alam said, “There may be differences in religion as Hindus and Muslims, but we are all human beings. Even though I am in Saudi Arabia, I have been accused in the Narail petrol bomb attack case. However, forgiveness is a great virtue. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman asked us to forgive, so we have forgiven. I urge everyone to vote for the paddy in the next national elections.”
This conference is expected to play an important role in strengthening friendship and mutual cooperation between the Hindu and Muslim communities.
