Looted 826 arms, 20778 bullets recovered

After the fall of the Awami League government in a student uprising, angry mobs set fire to and attacked various police stations across the country. After attacking police stations and outposts, miscreants looted weapons and ammunition.
But so far, according to the police headquarters, 826 looted weapons have been recovered.
This information was informed in a message sent from the police headquarters on Monday (August 18).
According to the police headquarters, 826 different types of weapons have been recovered from all over the country. Besides, 20778 rounds, 1482 tear gas shells and 71 sound grenades were recovered.
It was further informed that the recovery of weapons and ammunition is going on. Anyone with illegal weapons has been requested to submit them to the nearest police station.
Meanwhile, the activities of all 639 police stations across the country have started.
