Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's 19th Release Day Today

Today is the 19th release day of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. He was released from prison on September 3, 2008. Various programs and discussions are underway among BNP leaders and activists to mark the 19th anniversary of that day.
Tarique Rahman was arrested in 2007 during the then caretaker government. After a long period of imprisonment, he was released from prison on September 3, 2008.
After his release, he went to London for medical treatment. Later, he played an important role in BNP politics and served as the acting chairman of the party.
Tarique Rahman is currently serving as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the chairman of BNP.
