Prime Minister announces end to corruption and harassment in land services

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said that people will no longer have to face harassment or corruption to get land services. The government is firmly committed to ensuring transparency and accountability in land management.
He said this at the inauguration of the three-day 'Land Services Fair-2026' at Tejgaon Bhumi Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday (May 19).
The Prime Minister said that the government is working to stop corruption and irregularities in the land services sector. The government must be more responsible in all services provided to the people.
He also said that initiatives have been taken to bring land services to a completely digital platform. As a result, citizens will no longer have to visit land offices in the future and will not face any kind of harassment.
The government's goal is to ensure fast, easy and transparent land services - so that the common man can get the necessary services from home.
