In 2007, the High Court quashed four cases filed against BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman in capital's Kafrul police station on charges of extortion.
The High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the order on Wednesday (October 23).
