Protests are going on in different parts of the country against the rape and murder of a doctor of RG Kar Medical College in Calcutta, the capital of West Bengal, India. Meanwhile, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday called Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee a "destroyer" and demanded her resignation. The BJP said that people changed Mamata Banerjee's name to "Nirmata Banerjee" after the horrific incident. This information was given in a report of the country's media NDTV on Monday.
While talking to the media, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia demanded the resignation of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said, Mamata Banerjee has now become Mamata destroyer. One has defiled the dignity of women through his misdeeds; Who was serving the society as a doctor.
Bhatia accused Chief Minister Mamata of destroying the rule of law. He said, Mamata Banerjee is an anarchist. He is the destroyer of the evidence of this heinous crime... he did it himself or by commission. He is the destroyer of our country's constitution.
He said, because the Chief Minister is protecting the former Principal of the Medical College; Whose job was to protect the students and here he failed. The chief minister has rewarded him for not investigating him and stands by him. This BJP spokesperson said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has destroyed the self-esteem of a woman. He has destroyed the constitutional values he swore to uphold. He is destroying the rule of law and ultimately the evidence in the case.
Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the state's Left political parties and the BJP are conspiring against her. A day after mob vandalized RG Kar Hospital, he said, they want to create unrest in Bengal. They are united in this turmoil. However, the two opposition parties in the state condemned the hospital vandalism as an attempt to destroy the evidence of the doctor's rape and murder.
On August 9, an intern doctor (31) of Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital was raped and killed, and people from various walks of life, including doctors, have been protesting throughout India. Thousands of people protested in Kolkata on Monday as well. A large number of workers of the health care sector have blocked various roads in the capital of West Bengal.
West Bengal Bengal said that the post-mortem report of the dead doctor's body was published on Monday. It is said that there were multiple wounds on his body. Head, cheek, lip, nose, right jaw, chin, throat, left arm, left shoulder, left knee, ankle and genital area were found.
