Trump warns Israel to stop Lebanon attacks

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump has given a strong message to his ally Israel to stop its ongoing military attacks on Lebanon. He made it clear that the US has ordered Israel to refrain from carrying out any further bombings in Lebanon.
In a message on his social media, he said that Israel has been asked to stop its attacks on Lebanon and that this violence must stop now. His statement has sparked new diplomatic discussions in the international arena.
However, he made it clear that the current situation in Lebanon has nothing to do with any possible agreement between the US and Iran. In other words, this step has been taken entirely with the aim of maintaining regional stability.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office did not immediately respond to this. However, in an earlier statement, he said that Israeli forces are still present in southern Lebanon because there is an immediate security threat there.
He added that some plans have been taken to deal with the threat of rocket and drone attacks, although their details were not disclosed.
It is worth noting that a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, brokered by the United States, took effect on Thursday night. Earlier, on March 2, the conflict quickly spread when the Lebanon-based organization Hezbollah attacked northern Israel.
Lebanese authorities said that the conflict has killed about 2,000 people, which has created a deep humanitarian crisis in the region. According to analysts, this US move could be helpful in controlling the situation, but a long-term diplomatic initiative is needed for a lasting peace.
