Tensions over nuclear proposal again, Iran rejects US proposal

The nuclear talks have again reached a deadlock. The United States has reportedly rejected Iran's new proposal.
In recent talks held in Islamabad, Pakistan, the United States offered Iran a 20-year moratorium on uranium enrichment. However, Iran countered by offering a maximum of five years to suspend the process.
US officials said President Donald Trump had rejected the proposal outright. Iran has also rejected US demands to move its highly enriched uranium stockpile abroad.
Iran has said it may consider reducing the concentration of uranium. However, analysts say this could lead to a risk of re-enrichment in the future.
Earlier, a meeting was held between the two countries in Islamabad on April 11, but the main disagreement was over Iran's nuclear program. The meeting ended without an agreement as there was no agreement in the talks, and both sides blamed each other.
However, sources said that the possibility of another round of talks has not been completely ruled out. Although no specific plans have been announced yet.
According to analysts, if the stalemate continues, tensions in the Middle East could rise further and the path to a diplomatic solution will become more difficult.
