Trump claims Mojtaba Khamenei is ‘dead or seriously ill’

US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is either dead or in a very serious condition. He even commented that there is virtually no effective leadership in Iran at the moment.
In his speech at the ‘Future Investment Initiative Priorities’ conference held in Miami, Florida, Trump said that the US military action has dealt a major blow to Iran’s leadership structure and defense capabilities. He claimed that almost all of Iran’s top leaders have been killed and the country’s top leadership is now virtually immobile.
He also said that Iran’s navy, air force and military communication systems have been widely destroyed. He also mentioned that missile and drone production facilities are being continuously attacked.
However, no independent confirmation has been found regarding Trump’s claims. According to various international and Iranian sources, Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the attack, but he is alive and undergoing treatment.
It is worth noting that earlier, it was claimed that Iran's former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in an attack. Then, Mojtaba Khamenei was elected as the new Supreme Leader while still injured.
Later, several reports mentioned that he went to Moscow for treatment. Iranian sources claim that his injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
According to analysts, such contradictory information and claims in the ongoing war situation have made it difficult to determine the real situation. Both sides are trying to strengthen their positions through information warfare, which is further increasing confusion in the international arena.
