Snake bites husband at night! Husband's Complaint

Published: 04:59 7 October 2025
An unbelievable allegation has started in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. A local man has claimed that his wife tried to bite him at night by transforming into a snake. The matter has not only become a local issue, but has now become the focus of discussion across the state.
A man named Meraj, a resident of Lodhasa village in Mahmudabad area of the district, submitted this complaint directly to the district magistrate. After hearing the matter, the administration and the officials present were shocked.
Every week, the district administration organizes a meeting called 'Solution Day' to solve the problems of the locals. There, common people complain about electricity, roads, ration cards or social problems. But this time, a different kind of complainant appeared in the meeting - Meraj.
He stood before the District Magistrate and said, “Sir, my wife Nasimun took the form of a snake at night and chased me to bite me. She tried to kill me many times. I woke up in time every time and escaped.”
Meraj further alleged that his wife regularly mentally tortured him. He expressed his fear and said, “Any night she could kill me in my sleep.” Hearing this sensational statement, the other attendees of the meeting were shocked. Many thought that Meraj might be suffering from some mental problem, but the administration did not ignore the matter.
Meraj’s strange claim quickly spread on social media. All sorts of funny comments are going on about his story on X (formerly Twitter). One person wrote, “Who knows, who else did he bite!” Another jokingly said, “Have you hidden his nagmani somewhere?” Some said, “The man is very lucky, he got a ‘nagina’ like Sridevi as a wife.” With such comments, netizens are making reference to the 1986 Bollywood hit film 'Nagina', in which late actress Sridevi could take the form of a snake.
Although the incident has sparked social curiosity, the administration has taken the matter seriously. The District Magistrate has immediately ordered an investigation by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and the police. According to police sources, the matter is initially being treated as mental torture or a domestic dispute. The written complaint filed by Meraj states that his wife bit him once and often chased him in the form of a snake. An official said, "We are investigating the incident. Mental health issues are also being taken into consideration."
This strange allegation has created a sensation in the entire Lodhasa village. Some say it is a mere fantasy, while others believe that there may be something 'paranormal' in it. The administration, however, says that no conclusion can be reached without verification. Meanwhile, the local media has started covering the incident extensively.
It is truly surprising that such a 'Nagin story' has reached the court of law in the 21st century. However, experts say that it may be a manifestation of mental illness or family conflict. After the investigation, it may be clear - is this really a miracle, or just a 'nightmare'.
