John Landau the producer of Titanic is no more

John Landau, the world famous producer of 'Titanic', 'Avatar' movies is no more. He was 63 years old at the time of his death.
The news of the producer's death was confirmed by his family (sons Jamie Lando and Jody and his wife Julie). No information was available on when, how and from what cause John died, despite the fact that the death was reported.
The British newspaper The Guardian reported that the sudden death of the Oscar-winning filmmaker has cast a shadow of mourning on the Hollywood industry. Famous director James Cameron also expressed his condolences.
John Landau is named in the list of producers with the help of director James Cameron's Oscar-winning movie 'Titanic'.
Titanic grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. It was the first movie in Hollywood to gross so much worldwide.
The movie also won the Oscars. Won awards in 11 categories. John was the Chief Operating Officer of Lightstorm Entertainment, the production company of this movie.
"John was a visionary with extraordinary talent," Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman John Bergman wrote in a statement on John's death. So he brought some unforgettable stories to the big screen. Has left a mark of extraordinary contribution in the film industry. An iconic and successful producer was Landau.

John first stepped into the world of cinema in 1980. There was no producer then. He started his career as a production manager. Then with hard work and dedication he became a successful producer.
