Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Republican candidate Donald Trump on the verge of winning the US presidential election.
He congratulated him in a post given on social media X on Wednesday.
Trump, who is on the verge of victory, addressed supporters in West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday night local time. At this time he declared himself the winner. However, the Electoral College vote has not yet been formally completed. However, after Trump's announcement, world leaders are congratulating and congratulating him.

Trump was joined on stage by wife Melania Trump and his running mate JD Vance when he spoke in West Palm Beach.
"This is a wonderful victory for the American people," Trump said. It will give us the opportunity to make America great again. This will be America's golden age, he said.
Apart from Modi, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of United Kingdom Keir Starmer, President of France Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni and other governments and heads of state have congratulated Trump.
