Jet fuel price reduced, new rate effective from midnight

The price of jet fuel, the fuel used in aircraft, has been reduced again in the country's market. According to the new decision of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission, the revised price will be effective from midnight on Tuesday.
According to the new rate, the price of jet fuel per liter on domestic routes has been reduced from 150 taka 21 paisa to 130 taka 99 paisa. This has reduced the price per liter by 19 taka 22 paisa.
The price of jet fuel has also been reduced for international flights. Earlier, the price per liter was 0.9808 US dollars. In the new decision, it has been reduced to 0.8556 US dollars.
Earlier, the price of jet fuel was also reduced on June 7. At that time, the price per liter for domestic flights was reduced from 165 taka 88 paisa to 150 taka 21 paisa. At the same time, the price of jet fuel for international flights was also reduced from US$ 1.0823 to US$ 0.9808.
The new price will be applicable to airlines operating domestic flights in the country. At the same time, this rate will also be effective at related airports including Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong, Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, Jessore and Cox's Bazar airports.
The new price of jet fuel will remain in effect until further notice.
