After the news of the resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a video of Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has gone viral on social media. In the video, she is seen holding her ears up and praising the student movement and paying tribute to the young 'Gen Z' generation.
Sonakshi reacted to the resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the face of ongoing protests over question leakage and various irregularities in the examination system.
In the viral video, Sonakshi, dressed in gym shorts and an oversized T-shirt, first holds her ears up and poses. Then, she comes straight in front of the camera and takes off her hat and says, "I used to think that the 'Gen Z' generation was very light. I thought that nothing would happen to them. I will never make such a mistake again. Salute to you! I also want to be Gen Z, you have done an amazing job."
It is worth noting that Sonakshi Sinha has been vocally supporting the students' agitation demanding the resignation of the Education Minister from the very beginning. She has also spoken out in support of the hunger strike social activist Sonam Wangchuk and the just demands of the students on several occasions. After the video was released, the actress has been widely discussed online and praised by netizens.
