Actress Priyanka Chopra has established herself beyond Bollywood and even in Hollywood. However, even though she is now an international star, her childhood was not very happy. The actress has said that she was a 'brownie' in New York school more than once because of her black color. But she was also subjected to sarcasm within the family.
Recently, the actress said that Priyanka is the only black girl in a Punjabi family. As a result, she was called 'Kali', meaning black girl. Besides, various hurtful words were said in a funny way. A 'desi girl' can understand the meaning of all that when she reaches adolescence.
Not only that, the actress had a long-standing episode of humiliation with her father. Her father had turned the house into a prison. Wearing tight clothes was a kind of taboo in Priyanka's house. Wearing tight clothes or T-shirts that were close to the body were forbidden, said the actress. Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra gave her this 'prediction' mainly because of an incident.
Her father imposed various restrictions on her clothing. In this situation at home, Priyanka joined a beauty pageant at the initiative of her mother Madhu Chopra.
