Chhatra Dal leader beat Jabi student

An allegation of beating a student of Jagannath University has been filed against the branch Chhatra Dal leader Sadman Samya. The victim of the attack, Zahid Hasan, is a 2020-21 academic year student of Marketing Department of Johny University. The injured man was given first aid at Al Khidmah Hospital in Khilgaon of the capital. The incident took place at the main gate of the campus on Wednesday (August 28) around 4 pm.
According to witnesses, Chhatra Dal leader Samya first kept the victim student Johnny in the bus parked in front of the campus and beat him for 10 to 15 minutes. Later he was taken out of the bus and taken to the police station next to the campus to be beaten. Chhatra Dal leader Samya along with 10 to 12 activists were present.
On inquiry, it is known that Sadman is a follower of Mehedi Hasan Himel, Senior Joint General Secretary of Samya Branch Chhatra Dal. Sadman is a 2019-20 academic year student of Finance Department of Samya University. He is the number 1 member of Jabi Branch Chhatra Dal.
In this regard, the attacker Sadman Samya said, he (Johnny) was harassing. If you talk to him, he is abusive, coming to beat you. Then the situation is different. On the other hand, if you want to talk to Johnny who is under treatment in the hospital, he said that he is not in a condition to talk at the moment.
Meanwhile, Sujan Molla, general secretary of the branch Chhatra Dal, said that such an incident has happened, we have heard. If the incident is true then we will investigate it and take organizational measures.
In this regard, Asaduzzaman Aslam, president of the branch students' party, was contacted several times on the phone, but he could not be found.
