Farmer dies in easy bike-motorcycle collision

A farmer named Hasibul Islam (38) died in a head-on collision between an easy bike and a motorcycle in Panchagarh Sadar Upazila. The accident occurred in the Jhoper Dighi area of Kazirhat Union of the upazila on Tuesday (June 2) afternoon.
The deceased Hasibul Islam is a resident of Madhupara village of Amarkhana Union of Sadar Upazila. Local sources said that he earned his living through farming.
According to locals, while he was riding his motorcycle for personal work in the afternoon, he collided with an easy bike coming from the opposite direction when he reached a junction in the Jhoper Dighi area. Hasibul Islam and several others were injured in the accident.
After the accident, locals quickly rescued the injured and took them to Panchagarh Adhunik Sadar Hospital. After providing primary treatment there, Hasibul Islam's physical condition deteriorated and he was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. However, he died on the way to the hospital.
Sadar Police Station said that the necessary legal procedures are being completed for the body. If any complaint is received in this incident, necessary action will be taken after investigation.
