Senior lawyer of Chandpur Kazi Habibur Rahman is no more

Alhaj Kazi Habibur Rahman, senior lawyer of Chandpur District Lawyers Association and former General Secretary of Greater Comilla District Lawyers Association has passed away. He was 85 years old at the time of his death.
He breathed his last at Dhaka's Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital on Tuesday (July 30) evening.
Acting President of Chandpur District Lawyers Association ANM Mainul Islam and General Secretary Badrul Alam Chowdhury confirmed the truth of this information.
They said that the funeral of Habibur Rahman, a senior lawyer of the District Lawyers Association, was held on Wednesday (July 31) at 10:30 am at the District Judge Court premises. After the funeral, he was buried in the family cemetery.
On the same day, a mourning meeting was organized in the memory of the deceased at the District Judge's Court, Fulkot Reverence and the District Lawyers' Association.
Kazi Habibur Rahman was a resident of Alipur village of Shaharasti upazila of Chandpur but lived in GT Road area of Chandpur city. He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, grandchildren and relatives. He was under treatment in Dhaka for a long time.
It may be noted that Kazi Habibur Rahman joined the Chandpur District Bar Association on September 11, 1984 and remained a member of the Bar Association till the day of his death. Earlier he was General Secretary of Greater Comilla District Bar Association and Vice-Principal of Comilla Law College.
