Evacuation operation of two illegal lead factories in Tangail

An illegal lead factory eviction operation has been conducted in Ghatail upazila of Tangail. On Wednesday (October 23) from noon to 5 p.m., under the leadership of Ghatail Upazila Administration Executive Magistrate (Land) Kishore Kumar Das, Ghatail Upazila Administration and Department of Environment, Tangail District Office, led by lead producer 02 (two) from old batteries at Malir Chala and Ambagan of Ghatail Upazila. ) eviction drives and mobile court proceedings were conducted against factories.
At this time, all the structures of the factory have been demolished. No owner/proprietor of the factory was found during the operation. But Assistant Director Tuhin Alam and Inspector Motaleb Hossain were present.
Mia Mahmudul Haque, deputy director of the Department of Environment, said that such operations against illegal factories in Tangail district will continue for environmental protection.
Ghatail upazila police members were present and fully cooperated in the eviction operation and mobile court management.
