On the ground, it can be seen that the drivers who came to give the dope test are standing at the locked main gate of Noakhali Medical College. On the other hand, the protesting students are shouting slogans in front of the administrative building. The lock hangs in the class room which is full of teachers and students. Even on the opening day, there is no usual busyness. The office room of the department is also closed. Noakhali Medical College in complete shutdown.
It is known that last Sunday (September 8) from 10:30 am, the students held a protest program demanding the resignation of Medical College Principal Syed Zakir Hossain, Vice-Principal Mahbubur Rahman, Forensic Medicine Department teacher Riaz Uddin and Surgery Department teacher Syed Kamrul Hossain. They gave a 24-hour ultimatum along with a stand program to realize the demand. Despite the delay, as the administration remained silent, the students called for a 'complete shutdown' and the principal declared the four teachers unwanted. As a result, there is practically a deadlock in the medical college.
Agitating students. Shihab Uddin told Dhaka Post that we have given complete shutdown program to demand resignation. They are procrastinating but not resigning. If necessary, we will give strict program also they have to resign. They have no choice but to resign.

Another agitator named Atiq told Dhaka Post, we have only one demand, the murderer and dictator Hasina's friend, principal, vice-principal, teacher Syed Dr. Kamrul Hossain and Dr. Riaz must be removed. We want to go back to class. So accept our demand. Then everything will be easy. Otherwise, there will be a more severe movement in the future. We will not go back without their resignation.
Meanwhile, due to the agitation, the drivers and foreign travelers have suffered to pay the people. Md. A foreigner named Anwar Hossain told the Dhaka Post that we could not conduct dope tests due to the students' agitation. We have a flight to go abroad. If you don't give a dope test quickly, it will be a loss.
Syed Zakir Hossain, the principal of the medical college, could not be reached for a statement even though he called several times on his mobile phone.
