He said these things by connecting live on a Facebook ID named Shaun Molla at around 10 pm on Sunday (08 September).

Earlier that day at noon in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office, the controversial former freedom fighter commander Md. Abdur Rashid was beaten up.

Shaun Molla said on Facebook Live, 'One of my videos has gone viral. I have come live to highlight the main point in various discussions and criticisms about it. The so-called Commander Rashid aka Kala Rashid, aka Dakat Rashid, aka Darshak Rashid had no role in the liberation war. He is a fake freedom fighter. He became the commander of the freedom fighter in exchange of money through the influence of Awami League. He himself made everyone a freedom fighter in exchange of money. People of all classes and professions of Barguna are oppressed by his tyranny and true freedom fighters are humiliated and deprived. He is a dakat sardar, Bhoomi Kheko, women scandals, etc. There are various complaints written in various newspapers and video footage. I will present them to you later and take legal recourse.

He also said, 'Why I took the law in my hands, why I behaved like this, I am giving you the answer. I hold the political ideology of brave freedom fighter Ziaur Rahman and country leader Begum Khaleda Zia and am a petty worker of BNP. This fake Rashid arrogantly spoke about the character of my mother-like leader many times. He insulted Ziaur Rahman as a Pakistani spy rather than a freedom fighter. He said these things in different speeches at different times. He said about Tariq Rahman and Arafat Rahman Koko, they were not born right. I couldn't control myself as a Zea soldier in such a situation. So today such an unexpected incident happened.

At this time, Shaun Molla asked the country's law and order forces to investigate the words spoken on his live. Besides, if these are false, he said that he will take the punishment that is in the law. Shaun Molla came on Facebook Live and said these things to everyone when the discussion on the matter started.

On the other hand, he was beaten. Abdur Rashid said, I went to the Deputy Commissioner's office for my own work and was beaten up. I am a freedom fighter and an old man. I will try to take legal action. If I do something wrong, there is a court of law in the country. I will be judged there. But no one can lay hands on me like this.
